We will be having a studio lighting class. We will be exploring all aspects of the studio shot along with lighting scenarios and model interaction. This will be a 2 hour class that will tackle more about lighting and models than you will be able to absorb.
Our subjects will be:
1,2 & 3 studio lights situations, with soft boxes, umbrellas, barn doors, light filters and gels.
1,2 & 3 speedlight setups with umbrellas and gels.
Natural lighting, along with multiple reflectors.
Model poses (masculine and feminine) and interaction.
1,2 & 3 light setups with subject and background focuses as well as background effects.
There will also be some open studio time to practice after the class.

We will be in the studio shooting poses with models. Some of the online material for this course - Zeltsman Approach to Traditional Classic Portraiture - Benji's Studio Lighting and Posing Tutorial
We will go through a fair amount of the poses in these online guides. There will be a lot of time practicing the various lighting setups and posing techniques that go with them.
Directions to the studio (1627 North 2nd Street, Suite 300, Philadelphia, PA). We are on the 3rd floor. This is a secure building, there is an intercom at the front door, type in 300 and touch the green bell button to ring the studio. I'll buzz you in. The stairs are the last door on the left. Or, if needed, someone can bring down the elevator for you.
